Sascha LO
Attention seeker, performance artist (comedian) and writer.
Who does she think she is?
Sascha is a 23-year-old award-nominated comedian, writer, and manic (pixie dream) girl based in London.
She has been a Funny Women Finalist, BBC Comedy Awards Nominee (twice), and a BFI ‘Best Writer’ Award Nominee and has been described as ‘desperate for attention’ by a reviewer who definitely has a crush on her (CHORTLE).
What does she even do?
Sascha runs Material Girls Comedy, a monthly women and non-binary night at the Bill Murray Comedy Club.
Her Edinburgh Fringe WIP 2023, ‘BRAT’ sold out and received 4* reviews (she did brat before Charli XCX btw).
Her content has gained over 2 million views online, 50K+ likes and 100 newsletter subscribers.
Her work focuses on Gen Z, body image and feminism and her character-based stand up has been featured on BBC Radio 4.
But stand up is kinda cringe?
Sascha is also a writer, occasional director and she believes she can act (she does have A* drama GCSE so…)!
Her BIFA Qualifying debut short film, ‘Model of Life’, was selected for film festivals across the globe and nominated by the BFI for ‘Best Writer’.
She is also the Director and a Co-Writer for ‘Delulu’, a sketch show about girlhood in the 2000s that is on a UK Tour.
She is currently working on various long-form projects with Candle & Bell Productions and Silver Salt Productions.
