Sascha LO

Attention seeker, writer, and performance artist (comedian).

Who does she think she is?

Sascha is a shockingly young award-nominated writer, comedian, and manic (pixie dream) girl based in London.

She has been a BFI ‘Best Writer’ Award Nominee, as well as a Funny Women Finalist, LSNC Finalist, BBC Comedy Awards Nominee (twice), and has been described as ‘desperate for attention’ by a reviewer who definitely has a crush on her (CHORTLE).

What does she even do?

Sascha runs Material Girls Comedy, the Bill Murray’s sell-out women and non-binary night.

Her surreal comedy focuses on Gen Z, body image and the young female experience and her character-based stand-up and writing has been featured on BBC Radio 4.

Her Edinburgh Fringe WIP 2023, ‘BRAT’ sold out and received 4* reviews (she did brat before Charli XCX btw).

Her content has gained over 2 million views online, 50K+ likes and 100+ blog subscribers.

But stand-up is kinda cringe?

Sascha is a writer, occasional director and she believes she can act (she does have A* drama GCSE so…)!

Her BIFA Qualifying debut short film, ‘Model of Life’, was selected for film festivals across the globe and nominated by the BFI for ‘Best Writer’.

She has also written for BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz multiple times and is a comedy sketch writer for Rescue Remedy’s TikTok, with her work receiving 36+ million views.

She also directed and co-wrote ‘Delulu’, a sketch show about girlhood in the 2000s.

Where can I see Sascha IRL?
